Writing good web content will not only
help in your ranking with Google but with your traffic also. There has been some disagreements on what Google is ranking web
sites on the most(Web Content or Linking). My answer to this is, who cares! Just do your best in both.
Writing
web content is no different than any other step in web building. Each step requires that you give the best effort you have.
You and only you have to take the responsible of failure or success. The buck stops with you.
Writing
web content is not hard as you think, so get that idea out of your head right away. You can write. You may be a little out
of practice but with a little work, it will come back to you.

of writing that you had in English class. Web writing should be CREATIVE to stimulate readers. Simple enough for your readers
to understand. STRAIGHT to the point so readers do not become bored and EASY to read. I personally like to us 12 point with
courier font. That is just my opinion!
I am sure you are wondering why I have not said anything about

site. At this point and time, you need only be concerned with writing good web content. You will Optimize it later for the
search engines.
Paragraphs of web content should be short to keep readers attention span longer. Do not
pick a background that will conflict with your foreground. Hey,you can not go wrong with white!
This
may sound a little crazy, but write your web content on a Junior High School level. (This rule was not hard for me). Your
readers will range from dropouts to college graduates. You must relate to everyone that is reading your content.
Write web content like you are talking to a person. Write your content in an informal way. Just like you are e-mailing
a friend. Write to one person, use the word (you). Do not write your content for a group.
When writing
web content, think about your visitor concern. Ask yourself? What can I do for them. You should always write in this context.
Do not write it for yourself.
Writing web content should show your passion for what you are selling or
your services. The readers will be able to see and feel your passion for what you are writing about.
To
emphasize a high point of interest about your content, use bold type, colored type or underline it. Do something to show that
it is important to read.
There is a lot more to writing good web content for you to learn. You will learn

Remember, you can write good web content. You have it in you, if
you are dedicated and willing to work hard and study. I have said before nothing is easy at first but it will get better.
